    Hi there! I'm Katie the author and culinary mind behind this website. On my website, you'll find not only delicious plant-focused recipes but also practical tips and tricks.

    Nutritious food & creating recipes

    Growing up in a family that that shared a passion for whipping up scrumptious home-cooked meals, it was no surprise that my love for cooking started at an early age.

    However, It wasn't until I started my nutrition courses at university that my interest in creating more nourishing versions of my favorite dishes truly sparked. For the first time, I dove into the science behind food and how it impacts our overall well-being and I was hooked.

    I started cooking more vegan and vegetarian meals almost 10 years ago and have loved experimenting with food and developing recipe ever since then.

    Credentials and Education

    Holding a master's degree in sports science, my journey into the world of food has been a fusion of my passion for nutritious eating and my background in understanding the science of fueling the body.

    Armed with ten years of experience in recipe development, my aim is to make nutritious, home-cooked meals accessible and enjoyable.

    Although my aim is to primarily use a diverse range of whole foods in my recipes to make them as nourishing as possible, I also enjoy whipping up indulgent dishes and their sole purpose is to enjoy them.

    Hence, you'll find a mix of both nutritious and mouth-watering "treat-only" recipes on this website 😋
