Start by toasting the bread either in a toaster or oven. Toaster: Place the slices into the slots of your toaster. Adjust the toasting level according to personal preference.Oven: Set your oven to broil and let it preheat. Lightly brush one side of each slice with olive oil. Add the slices to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes
High quality ingredients: Use good quality ingredients. This will make a big difference to the result. From the bread (I love sourdough or whole grain bread) to creamy cottage cheese and bright, fresh produce.
Toast bread properly: It should be crunchy but not burned. White bread will need around 4 minutes on each side in the oven, multigrain bread usually between 5 and 6 minutes on each side.
Salt and Pepper: If you’re making a savory toast, season it well with salt and black pepper.
Serve immediately for the best results.
