TVP Tacos

Ingredients

Start by soaking the TVP (textured vegetable protein)  in veggie stock and set aside

Step 1

Saute onion and garlic in a large pan. Then add the spices and fry for 30 seconds more.

Step 2

Add drained TVP and fry for about 5 minutes until the TVP releases some veggie broth

Step 3

Add  bell peppers, tomato paste and maple syrup (optional) and let simmer  for about 15 minutes or until peppers are soft.

Step 4

Assemble the tacos.

Step 5

Don't forget to add some homeade guacamole!
