- 6 basic ingredients - ready in 20 minutes - makes the perfect weeknight meal -nut-free, dairy-free

Step 1

Soak mushrooms in soy-maple sauce for about 10 minutes. Skip this step if you don't want to include mushrooms.

Step 2

Bake mushrooms until crispy.

Step 3

Add coconut milk, garlic, parmesan, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, salt and pepper to a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 4

Ad it to a  saucepan and let simmer until thickened.

Step 5

Add mushrooms and stir well.

Step 6

Add  pasta and serve with toppings of choice.
