The watermelon strawberry mix yields 3 servings (depeneding on the size of your serving glass). Sugar, lime juice and mint yield 1 serving.
Add frozen strawberries, watermelon and maple syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth. You will need to use a tamper to push the fruits towards the blades for the first couple of seconds. Do not use more liquid instead, otherwise the mojito can taste quite watery.
To a serving glass, add mint leaves, 1 teaspoon of sugar and lime juice.
Slightly dissolve sugar by stirring with a teaspoon.
Add ice cubes up until about ⅓ of the glass (see photos).
Then add the watermelon mix from the blender (ice cubes should be covered).
Top off with sparkling water.
Garnish with additional mint leaves and serve right away.
