Banana Strawberry Smoothie (no yogurt)

This delicious summer smoothie only requires 4 simple ingredients and comes together in less than 5 minutes. It's also dairy-free and there's no yogurt included.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more banana or another sweetener of choice (dates, maple syrup...) if you want a sweeter smoothie.
  • Gradually add more milk if you prefer a thinner smoothie. Add more frozen banana chunks if you prefer a thicker consistency.

Notes

  • Ripe Banana: Make sure to use ripe bananas for a sweet smoothie.
  • Frozen Banana: Using frozen instead of fresh bananas will result in a super creamy texture! Simply chop ripe bananas into bite-sized pieces and put them in the freezer the night before.
  • Good Blender: For best results, I recommend using a strong blender.
  • This recipe makes 1 big or 2 small portions of smoothie. Feel free to double the ingredients.
