Green Bean Casserole

Cut off the ends of the green beans.

Step 1

Soak dried mushrooms in veggie broth.

Step 2

Fry onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat.

Step 3

Add brown mushrooms and saute until golden brown.

Step 4

Remove all the mushrooms from the pan.

Step 5

Add flour and toast until slightly brown. Choose a gluten-free flour blend for a gf casserole.

Step 6

Gradually add the almond milk to the flour while consistantly stirring with a whisk.

Step 7

Add flour mix, soaked mushrooms, vegan parmesan, salt, pepper and herbs to a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 8

Spoon the sauce from the blender, over the cooked green beans and mushrooms to a casserole dish.

Step 9

Add toppings (parmesan and walnuts) and bake for 15 minutes.
