Pancakes with water

Dairy-Free

no milk needed!

Ingredients

Add flour, baking powder and salt to a large bowl and make a well in the center.

Step 1

Place maple syrup, olive oil and the egg into the center of the bowl.

Step 2

Start whisking together those 3 ingredients only first.

Step 3

Then add the water and vanilla extract (optional).

Step 4

and stir with a spatula until just combined (don't over-mix!).

Step 5

Heat some olive oil in a pan or griddle over medium heat. Add 1/3 cup of the pancake batter.

Step 6

Once you can see a lot of little bubbles forming, flip with a spatula and cook on the other side.

Step 7

Fresh Fruit: Choose your favorite types of fruits! – Dried Fruit: chopped dates, raspberries, cherries... – Nuts: walnuts, almonds, cashews, brazil nuts...

Nut Butters: Peanut or Almond Butter  – Yogurt: plain yogurt or vegan/ dairy-free yogurt  – Vanilla ExtractCacao PowderChocolate Chips

Topping Ideas

Temperature: medium-low to medium. – Don't over-mix: small lump left in the batter are fine – Let rest: Let the batter rest for 10 minutes  – Don't flip too early
