Mashed Potatoes


without butter


Peel potatoes and rinse with cold water.

Step 1

Cut the potatoes in 4 parts.

Step 2

Then add them to a large pot filled with cold water.

Step 3

Bring to a boil and let simmer with a lid for about 15 minutes.

Step 4

Drain over a large bowl to reserve the cooking water.

Step 5

Add the potatoes to a potato ricer and squeeze the handles to push the potatoes through the ricer.

Step 6

Add the olive oil and some of the reserved cooking water until you achieve a desired consistency. Combined with a wooden spoon.

Step 7

Taste and adjust salt. Serve topped with fresh herbs and olive oil.
