Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

Cut off the ends of the green beans.

Step 1

Soak dried mushrooms in veggie broth.

Step 2

Fry onion and garlic in some olive oil over medium heat.

Step 3

Add mushrooms and saute until golden brown.

Step 4

Remove mushrooms from the pan.

Step 5

Add flour and toast until slightly brown.

Step 6

Add the milk while consistently stirring.

Step 7

Add flour mix, soaked mushrooms, parmesan, salt, pepper and herbs to a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 8

Add the sauce from the blender, cooked green beans and mushrooms to a casserole dish.

Step 9

Add toppings (parmesan and walnuts) and bake for 15 minutes.
